Our Neighborhood through Our Eyes was a project of the 5th graders at Sumner Avenue School. The students took home cameras and walked around their neighborhood capturing moments or scenery that reminded them of how beautiful Forest Park truly is. The digital cameras were provided by Trinity.
The kick-off to the art display was an art walk to each of the locations that are displaying the students' art. These pictures are of that event.
The art they created is on display through June 11 at the following locations: Trinity UMC, Forest Park Eye Care, Forest Park Branch Library, Food Zone international, and The Drama Studio.
